LizLines: Your Life Sentence
If your life was a sentence, how would you punctuate it?
Would it be a period to indicate a strong statement or declaration of your existence? One demonstrating an efficient and serious life leaving the element of fun or enjoyment as an unknown?
A comma? Indicating that you are a "work in progress" and still evolving. Or would it indicate your uncertainty of what's next as you wait for someone else to complete the sentence for you?
A question mark? Are you curious about life? Do you question your belief in people, things or concepts? Are you seeking to find answers to questions so that your life is enriched or solutions to problems so that others' lives are enriched?
And if you would punctuate your life with an exclamation point, then why? Would it be to show your excitement and enthusiasm for living? Would it be to demonstrate your passion and exuberance for learning along life's journey? Or would it be a statement of protest or strong feeling about what life has dealt you?
Your life is a book that's being written each day. It deserves your time and energy. It deserves contemplation to make thoughtful decisions and life choices. Consider this choice: Your life as a purposeless run-on sentence or a well-punctuated sentence? Don't let your life be a purposeless run-on sentence with no punctuation. Choose the right punctuation and make each sentence count!
